PGR Special Mission Bill Morton Houston Veteran 6/6/2006:


Bill Morton, Veteran and ALR Member passed this past week after a several year battle with cancer. The SE Texas PGR has been invited to the service tomorrow.  Please join the Patriot Guard Riders and American Legion Riders us as we honor this Veteran
.   We will attend the services at Garden Oaks Funeral Home and then ride with the procession to Houston Nation.  There will be a police escort.   I will need a head count, please RSVP if you WILL be attending.

Burial  to follow at Houston National Cemetery

I just got off the phone with some of the American Legion folks and they are planning on attending also. Bill Morton was an American Legion Rider and his wish was to be escorted home by bikes. I hope to see you there to show our support.

Rev. Brain I am leaving East Houston and heading west on I-10 to Eldridge, it seems to be the best route for me anyway. Should leave here around 9 or a lil earlier just for times sake. Cya there!

Once again I was amazed at the dedication of the Patriot Guard Riders, we had a great turnout for Bill Morton. The guys helped me so much that it made the ride easy. The Family was overjoyed at us (the PGR) being there for them and could not have been nicer.

The LEO's were fantastic. even with the heavy traffic in areas they kept everything going smoothly.

You guys and gals are the best! Thank you all for giving me the pleasure of being a part of this today.
