Good Morning all -

Due to weather conditions predicted of high wind gusts and heavy rains - we will not be riding - 4-wheelers every one. Remeber to bring your flags! We will give them a send off - however, it appears at this time that there will not be an escort.

NH & MA will also be caging it toadya to....as it has been said....Safety First, PGR, Safety First!

Great send off today. Many people thanked us again for our support. Again, it is not about us. I cannot count how many times we said thank you and good luck to the troops who were loading onto the buses. As I was standing next to the road as the buses pulled out ,a gentleman was standing next to me (who I am assuming had a loved one being deployed) I spoke softly and said to myself, god be with you. He answered yes please. The family who joined us at Mac's grill, I will keep in our thoughts and prayers for a safe return of the young lady they had just said goodbye to. Again, PGR of Maine, a job well done.

RE:  June 8 Special Mission

I wish to thank the Maine PGR for letting me share in the opportunity to honor those patriots heading out to far destinations.  I wish we could have escorted, but, that liquid funshine just put a "damper" on everything.  It was wicked awesome to see everyone in the bus windows waving while the bus drivers blew their horns.

To the 399th Combat Support Hospital Unit - God Speed! PGR will be standing tall in your absence - waving Ole Glory proudly untill you all return!

Thanks for allowing us to send you off - Maine - NH - MA - style! Wish we could have escorted you all the way to your final destinations....unfortunately mother nature had other plans....to much liquid sunshine and high winds.

Hopefully, when you all return...we will be invited to give you a BIG OLE New England Welcome and mother nature will cooperate with us! Please let us know when you are heading back!

Until then, if there is anything you or your families need...please do not hesitate to call upon us....you can click on our handles here to the left of our post and send us an email directly...again God Speed 399th - God Speed!

ps...Soldier Robinson....we got Samantha covered! We we honored to have lunch with her after you left...what a woman you got there! Soldier McIntire / DeRaaps - we also had the honor to eat with your entire family! What a great bunch of people...we wanted Tom to join us as Maine PGR Chaplian - he wanted a scoot for it! Gee Whiz! lol
