Thank you sir. You all did an excellent job. Don hasnt mailed me back about the plaque yet so i dont know if im supposed to order one or not. Ride safe and God Bless. Sorry i couldnt make it. I ended up doing 4 memorials the last 3 days. In the sun the whole time and i think it drained me pretty good.
If you all could forward this to the rest that attended to show my appreciation for standing proud.

This Tuesday morning, May 30, 2006 at 5:30 AM, PGR members assembled at the Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home at 325 Cedar Street, Franklin, Kentucky to pay respects and to honor Navy Veteran David Rue. We had members who had come from as far away as Thompson Station, Tennessee.
At 6:00 AM the Hearse bearing Mr. Rue departed the drive of the funeral home through a Flag draped "Tunnel of Honor" formed by 14 PGR members, for Indianapolis for final internment. The Hearse was escorted from the funeral home to I-65 by a unit from the Franklin Police Department.
Also in attendance was Mr. Rue’s wife, the Chief of Police and four members of the Franklin Police Department. .
PGR member Mark Watrous volunteered to be the outrider to escort Mr. Rue to Lexington where the Hearse was to be met by Ride Captain Dan Johnson and the Indiana PGR contingent and escorted on to the cemetery in Indianapolis.
My very deep appreciation to all of those who were able to attend and those of you who were with us in spirit. . Mrs. Rue spoke with Janet Temple and thanked all of us for showing her husband the respect and honor he so deserved for his military service. Mrs.
Rue was comforted by our presences.
Special thank you to Heather Crawford and Dan Johnson for their support in setting up this mission.
Special Thank you to the Franklin Kentucky Police Department for their support.
