Man this one hits close to home as one of the Hooah Radio DJ's is friends with the Captain's brother....He is also a PGR member and is telling the family about our mission and encouraging them to invite us to ride for Doug.

My prayers go out to this family in their time of loss!

yes, i was classmates and best friends with Doug's younger brother, Dan. He graduated a year b4 me...and after that..i really didn't see him that much. I really want to be at the funeral, but a)i don't know when it is, and b)i have no money to get a round trip plane ticket up there. What sux the most is that i'm stuck down here in TX, and they're in NH. I honestly had NO clue that Doug had even joined the military until i found out that he was killed in Iraq via an email from my dad yesterday. I did do a tribute show to him today on HOOAH!!!! Radio. I'm going to TRY to get in touch with the family and let them know that we are standing by if they would like us to be there. Honestly..I WANT the PGR there to show our support for this great family and town.

HEADS UP Y'ALL! You can STAND DOWN. I talked to someone from Plymouth Elementary School, where Doug's mom works. The family would like to keep the funeral low key. Just wanted to pass this along! As a friend of the family, I want to thank you with ALL my heart. What Y'all do REALLY has made my day :-)
