Elections were held this evening for the new Patriot Guard Riders Board of Directors. Each of the three new BoD nominees were ratified by a majority vote of the Regional and State Captains.
Tonight, the ratified BoD nominees, and the returning BoD members elected their new offices.
Effective 01 NOV 07 the Board of Directors for the Patriot Guard Riders will be:
President: Ed Mueller
Vice-President: Bill Richart
Secretary: Bill Lowry
Treasurer: Ronnie Awtry
Member's Representative: Donnie Snyder
The new BoD will be learning their new roles and responsibilities as they work in transition with the current BoD until 01 NOV, at which time they assume their new roles full time.
Gentlemen, I'd like to offer congratulations on your new positions. In your previous roles, you each demonstrated a passion for the PGR that is beyond question. Your efforts thus far have been commendable.
In your new roles - may you be patient, fair, deliberate, accountable, and true - as you work to further this great organization and its capabilities.
To the outgoing BoD members - Snap, Bonnie, and Jason...
There are no words that give justice to the gratitude that we each owe to you. You have sacrificed time, money, (and at times) sanity - to work on the behalf of thousands to better this organization. I am proud to say... you have succeeded. We have grown larger, stronger, and farther reaching than many could have ever imagined --- and we have done so, on your shoulders. Thank you.
Please take time to offer your support to the new BoD as you communicate with them.
