| I am Marks Dad. I DEEPLY appreciated The PGRs attendance at Marks arrival from Iraq, and his funeral. So much so that I have JOINED The Guard, taken the BRC and I intend to RIDE (Marks RIDE, a Boulevard C50) and STAND with you, FIRST at Marks memorial, then for other soldiers.
I look forward to meeting all of you, and getting together with folks who don't mind riding with a "newbie".

Pete WELCOME, it's an honor to have YOU to JOIN the Colorado Family of the NATIONAL PGR!! We all owe Mark a debt we can't truely repay, except by our THANKS. You will be welcomed and being a newbie rider isn't something you should be concerned with as the the "old Road Warriors" in our group will help you. Thank you for "STANDING" with us for the fallen and their familes.
With Respect!

Thanks BJ,
Looks like You and I have a thing or two in common - I was in The USAF, 7/74 to 7/78 - you might be a couple years younger, as I was 21 when I enlisted.
So, I guess we'll be meeting next week? See you there!

It was an honor to meet Mark's plane and then attend his funeral service. I will do my best to make his memorial service as well. It is a seemingly infinitesimal tribute for so great a sacrifice.

The highest courage is to dare to be yourself in the face of adversity. Choose right over wrong, ethics over convenience, and truth over popularity... these are the choices that measure your life. Travel the path of integrity without looking back, for there is never a wrong time to do the right thing. |
