On 27 June 2006 two British servicemen were killed in action in Afghanistan.

Due to the nature of their unit of assignment and mission, the families have requested that names and addresses not be released to the public.

I can not imagine the grief of these families, not recieving any support from other than immediate family amd the military "family".

We will be sending a complete copy of this thread through the British Ministry of Defence to each of the families.

To the soldiers and families, thank you for your sacrifice in the defense of freedom.

Dave

As with any volunteer organization, don’t volunteer for a job unless you have the knowledge and time to do the job right. Anything less is a disservice to the organization.

Your rest is well deserved; we have the watch!

We ride hundreds of miles for funerals here in the States. I, for one, would swap the Stars and Stripes for a Union Jack, if there were a bridge to get us there, for the benefit of your family.

I offer my sincere condolences to the families of these two heroic British soldiers. I simply can't fathom losing one of my own, I know the pain and sorrow must be great. I wish you all strength and peace in the coming months. I wish I could be there to show my respect in person, but the presence of my spirit will have to suffice. Thank you two for helping to secure this world from the idiots without morals. Bless you all.

My deepest sympathy to the families and loved ones of these two sons of England. All free men and women throughout the world who appreciate their liberty, owe these two British Soldiers a never ending debt of graditude. They were our champions in life, and their loss must never lessen the value of their lives. God Bless these two men of valor, and may he give comfort to all who must live with the sorrow of their loss.
