Corporal Peter Thorpe was killed on 2 July at Sangin, Helmand Province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to 3rd Para Battlegroup

Our sincere condolences to the family of Corporal Peter Thorpe. His name will be added to the rolls for Rememberance Day and never forgotten.

As with any volunteer organization, don’t volunteer for a job unless you have the knowledge and time to do the job right. Anything less is a disservice to the organization.

Your rest is well deserved; we have the watch!

We ride hundreds of miles for funerals here in the States. I, for one, would swap the Stars and Stripes for a Union Jack, if there were a bridge to get us there, for the benefit of your family.
