776th MAINTENANCE SQUADRON
DEPLOYMENT/PARADE
10 OCT 08

The 776th Maintenance Squadron is being deployed this next weekend. The town of Elizabethton, TN is having a parade in support of them on friday the 10th.

Staging Big John's Closeout 238 E Elk Ave Elizabethton, TN 37643 at 12:00. The parade will start at 1:00 from there and go to the War Memorial about 1/2 mile away.

NOTE:  If enough of you can make this, we have been invited to come to the Armory and escort the Guard and their equipment to the staging area. Please let me (Jay Hobbs, email addy below) know as soon as possible if you can make it so I can let them know if we are going to be able to make the extra escort and I will also setup staging and time for this.

Make sure to check your oil, brakes, brake fluid, air, cables and such so we don't have any break downs along the route over something that could have been avoided. I know it is getting cooler know, but, make sure you get yourself hydrated and keep yourself hydrated to avoid getting sick. Also remeber to dress acording to the weather, you all know that here in upper east Tennessee, the weather maybe nice and warm right now but give it 15 minutes and it could be chilly.

We need to get out there and show them that they have our support back here at home while they are over there doing what they have been ask to do.

I look forward to seeing all of you that can make it, be safe getting here and bring your flags!!!!!

Thank you for your willingness to stand and fight for our nations freedom in the Global War on Terrorism.  I pray that the Lord Jesus will place a Hedge of Protection around each of you and keep you safe from ALL Harm during this tour of duty.

The Lord is my Light and my Salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be Afraid?
Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident.
