*10/06/08 UPDATE: Phenix City Staging added below. I spoke with the

coordinator at the Veteran's Home and she provided a list of items that

are needed. Please bring any and everything you can or if you would

like to contribute, I will gladly purchase and haul it for you!

*Wish List:

ANYTHING Alabama or Auburn
Body Wash
Deodorant
Lotion
Hair Tonic
Handkerchiefs

Sugar Free Soft Candy or Chocolate
Sugar Free Cookies
Canned Diet Soda
Sardines
Vienna Sausages

 

*UPDATE*: Since we have an Honor Flight schduled for the evening of

October 4th, I have rescheduled this visit to be on *Sunday, October

12th*. All times below will remain the same.

 

Please join us as we visit with the Veterans at the Bill Nichols

Veteran's Home in Alexander City, AL on *October 12th, 2008 at 2:00

CST*. I will be checking with the coordinator at the veteran's home to

find out if there are any particular items that the residents need. If

so, I will post an update to let everyone know.

 

Alexander City Staging will be at the Walmart in Alexander City at 1330 CST

KSU from Walmart at 1355 CST

*Phenix City Staging will be at the Jet Way in front of Home Dept on Hwy

280/431 at 1245 EST. KSU at 1300 EST.

Please send me an email or Post if you are planning to attend so we will

have a good estimate of how many to expect.

If anyone would like to stage in Phenix City to ride over with us,

please let me know and I will set it up.

I wish that I could be with y'all on this visit. These are the most uplifting missions for my spirit. It is very fascinating to converse with a live piece of history. They have some very interesting stories.
