We have recently learned that Gold Star Mothers will be attending the "Thanks to Yanks" dinner.
Hence, we will now form a flag line to honor their presence. It is still your option to attend or not to attend the dinner that follows.
If you plan to attend the dinner, you still need to RSVP by 7 September latest to Michael Shain by phone at (508) 330-8487( leave name and number) or by email at tomatt@comcast.net
In addition, I need you to email me
1) If you have ALREADY contacted Michael Shain to attend the dinner
2) If you are NOW GOING TO contact him to attend the dinner
3) If you plan to join in the flag line

"THANKS TO YANKS' DINNER - Mendon, MA - Thurs 11 SEPT 08
We have been invited to attend a "Thanks to Yanks" dinner.
It is strictly a non-political dinner (no flag line or other active participation) in tribute to military families and the heroes and victims of 9/11. This event will be attended mostly by families who have or have had members on active duty.
We are invited along with our family members to include kids. There will be several speakers discussing veteran related topics. This is the second year for this event, with about 200 people attending last year.
