| *********UPDATE********The 39th MP Co, LA NG, will deploy from Shreveport on Sunday the 5th of October. PGR and veterans have been requested to perform escort for this deploying unit.
Time of ceremony is 1000am through 4pm, scheduled at this time. Unit will leave the ceremony to go directly to the airport for departure overseas.
Location: Deployment ceremony will be conducted at 705 Elvis Presley Avenue, Shreveport LA. THIS IS Rally point for all riders. Local Shreveport,Bossier area riders should meet RC for mission to stage for Flag line at 930. This is a long ceremony so riders may want to space their timing after the initial welcoming.
Escort has been requested if possible by riders from Camp Minden LA, from the Armoury at 2618 York Street Camp Minden. RC is needed for this escort . This is an approximately 1 hour ride. POC to get on Camp Minden is SFC Roberts at 318 382 4171.
I will leave the DOTD building on 171 N, Leesville LA on Sunday morning. Riders from the Fort Polk/Leesville area can meet there . At present I plan on riding up at this time for escort. If flags are not available in the Shreveport area I will bring truck with flags. Departure time from DOTD will be at 700am, with stop in Natchitoches to pick up folks who may want to meet up with southern group. We should be there around 800 am.
Request PGR RC Richard to assist in area. Anyone who has suggestions or comment please contact me at 337 404 8202.
