This might be the final time these WWII Vets get to see THEIR memorial in Washington. If you can make the early morning send off, please do. We would rather have numbers there for the Welcome Home, so if you can only make ONE, please come to the Welcome Home only.
I"m working on getting the flags for both parts now. It's a while off, but I wanted everyone to have a heads up.

| Thank you WWII vets. My grandfather was also in the Army for a short time during this time period and he unfortunately will not be able to see this great memorial. I did see it and I think it was very well planned out and placed. Thank you for your service and what you did to keep our country free. |

Wonderful turn out for the first part of this mission! I want to thank each and every one of you for standing in the heat with me today. I heard many wonderful comments about how great you all looked! I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. Those of you who can make the 0415 (4:15 AM) stage time in the morning, I'll see you there. Those of you who can make the 1930 (7:30 PM) stage time, I'll see YOU then! Again, great job today everybody!

Well, once again, I am truly humbled by the outpouring of support my brothers and sisters of the PGR have shown. Over 20 people stood tall, proud and with honor for the 125 WWII Veterans as they came home tonight from seeing their memorial in Washington. It was an honor to shake these Hero's hand and welcome them home. Tears were plentiful. The gratitude in the eyes of these warriors was beyond description. I want to thank each and every one of you who participated in tonights final part of this three part mission. I want to thank everyone who made it out to the first two parts too. You continue prove that patriotism and honor is not dead, that it is alive and well in the PGR. Thank-you, my brothers and sisters, for everything you continue to do in honor of our servicemembers, past, present and future. It is my honor to stand with you, anytime. Thanks again to you all! |
