Welcome Home - SSGT Curtis "Kevin" Grant! I give thanks to each and every Soldier. They are brave, courageous, and extremely dedicated in winning the war on terror. It's a real honor and privilege to be able to support them. Please continue to pray for the troops. In 1789 George Washington said it best, "The willingness with which our young people are likely to serve in any war, no matter how justified, shall be directly proportional as to how they perceive the veterans of earlier wars were treated and appreciated by their country." Mission Complete!
Debbie Smith, Renee Coleman, Buddy Palla and myself went to the Teays Valley Volunteer Fire Department at 7 PM this evening to Honor SSgt Curtis "Kevin" Grant at his WELCOME HOME party celebrating his safe return from his tour of duty in Iraq.  To open up Debbie, Renee and Buddy formed a flagline of Honor while I engaged Kelly Asbury (Kevin's sis) in a tale about the travails encountered by this mission. Our little talk caused some light laughter........then on a more serious note I called SSgt Grant up in front of everyone and presented him with a plaque from the PGR thanking him for his service. I must say the whole family seemed to welcome our appearance at the affair.
