Our debt to the Heroic men and Valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid . They have earned our undying gratitude. America will never forget their sacrifices
(President Harry S. Truman)

During these days of many trials and tribulations that our land of the free are facing, let us remember to hold our heads up high in remembrance for those who gave thier life for our freedom and those that are still in harms way for this cause. Pray for the brokenhearted and proclaim victory for those who are held captive. Lord, You are the light of the world and we declare You to be Lord over every nation. We know your light shines in darkness and the darkness does not always comprehend, but we also know You light will always prevail. Amen.

Thank you for your service to this Great Nation. I'll see you later tonight with a Hero's Welcome Home. No better gift that to be home for the Holidays. Happy Thanksgiving! Patrick, you kept saying how blistering cold it was outside during all this. Thoughts went through my mind as to what you guys and gals must be enduring over there in the sand box, harsh, harsh conditions with extreme weather, sand storms, and just the uneasy peace of mind that we take for granted here in the states. FREEDOM RINGS THROUGH YOU! I'll take the COLD anyday! Thank you!

Final Mission Report for SPC Patrick Menge:

We arrived at the staging area in the park at 4:50pm. There were two bikes, one cage and the Leo support officer already waiting. As the time drew near for the mission brief another six bikes showed up to help escort our Hero home on this clear cold Thanksgiving eve night along with two or three more cages. During the Mission brief five EM vehicles showed up to help with the escort. I interrupted Mom during her brief to point out that our lead officer had spent a tour of duty in Iraq, so we all thanked and applauded his duty to this Great Nation.

The Firemen brought their families with them and it was such a great sight to see the young kids stand in the line holding their flags as if they had done this many times before.

When our Hero rode in with his parents through two rows of American flags I can only imagine what was racing through his mind. He got out of the van with a big smile as everyone greeted him with a heart felt Welcome Home with hugs and hand shakes all around!

As the escort left the staging area we had our LEO vehicle in front, an EM vehicle, two fire trucks, bikes, our Hero, his family, cages, and three more fire trucks. We went through the town with all the EM vehicles sirens blaring and it was quite nice to see the residents come out for this Home Coming, what a sight!

After we pulled up in front of the house we all went up and again thanked and welcomed home our Hero. One by one we left as our Hero was surrounded by his family and friends. What a great beginning to their Thanksgiving Holiday

Thank you to the Harvard Police Department and Fire Department. Our hats are off to you for your help in making this Welcome Home a success. Thank you to the brave PGR members who came out in this cold evening on your bikes or in your cages to welcome this Hero home. You’re the Best! Thank you to Mom
Hog for putting this together, your attention to detail and seeing that our Heroes are honored are second to none.

Last, but not least, our thanks go out to our Hero, SPC Patrick Menge and his family. May god bless you and it is our Honor to welcome you home this evening.

Regards & Respect to All
