Mildred, the wife of this hero of WWII has decided to have ANC services be private only, and thanks us for our interest.

Thomas G Provenzano was a WWII vet and a retired Colonel in the US Army.  He passed away in his home on may 25, 2008 and is to be interred in the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) on 25 August, 2008 from the Old Chapel on Ft Myer at approximately 1245 hours.

 A PGR rider in California is a member of the family and is approaching the widow, his aunt , Mildred, to see if she would like PGR attendance as this Hero of a past war is laid to his final rest.

Our thoughts and prayers for the famiily and friends of Colonel Provenzano.

A greatful nation thanks you for standing up for the many privileges that we sometimes take for granted.

Colonel Provenzano was part of that great generation that stood up and stood together when our way of life was threatened.

After living a full life, now he leaves behind a dear sweet wife of over sixty years, my cousins and his grandchildren.

This time it is different. Colonel Provenzano is my uncle and will be dearly missed.

Rest in peace Uncle Tom and may the lifetime of memories you gave my aunt help her though this very difficult time.

Our heart-felt condolences to the Provenzano family and friends in the loss of Thomas. Thank you for his service to this great country. Our prayers go out to God for you in this time of loss. Thomas served to give us the freedom we now enjoy so much and for that he is one of the GREAT AMERICAN HEROS of the land. God bless your family and friends. Our condolences to the family and friends of Col. Provenzano. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. You have lost a loved one and our nation has lost a hero.

He was one of the citizen warriors who fought and sacrificed for our freedom. We enjoy more freedom than any other people in the world because of men like him. Freedom isn't free and our nation was blessed to have men like Col. Provenzano.
