Discussions with the Robert's Family and Farmington PD have resulted in a slight change of plans.
The Albuquerque Area Staging Information is as follows:
Date: 23 May, 2008
Staging Location: TA Truckstop on University between Menaul and Candelaria.
Staging Time: 0500
Kickstands Up: 0530
Bernalillo Area Staging Information:
Staging Location: Kicks 66 Station on US 550 between the River and the Casino.
Staging Time: 0530
Kickstands Up: 0600
The Albuquerque Riders will stop briefly to join up with the Bernalillo area Riders at the Kicks 66.
We will make a brief fuel/rest stop in Cuba at the McDonalds/Shell Station.
We need to be at the Animas Valley Mall on the east side of Farmington at 0930.
Kickstands Up from there will be at 1000 with full Police Escort to the Church.
I realize that this is again, a very early start, but it it necessary to meet the time table requested by the Roberts Family.
I hope to see many of you there!

FINAL ITINERARY, SSGT Kevin "Casey" Roberts, 25, Services in Center, Texas - Friday, May 16, 2008 at 2 PM
This is the final itinerary for the Patriot Guard Mission to honor SSGT Kevin "Casey" Roberts, who made the ultimate sacrifice for his country on Wednesday, May 7th in Afghanistan. His family has requested that the PGR be present at his services. The mission is a 'go' and all contacts have been made.
Services: 2:00 pm, Friday, May 16th at the Mangum Funeral Home, 420 San Augustine Street, Center, TX 75935 (936-598-3341). Interment following at West Hamilton Cemetery, FM 2427, approx. 20 miles south of Center.
Senior Ride Captain: Louis McGinty glmc@netdot.com
Weather Report: Cloudy, 30% chance of showers and 75 degrees. Remember Texas weather and come prepared for anything.
ALL GROUPS, CLUBS, INDEPENDENTS, ETC. ARE WELCOME to ride with us. The only prerequisite is RESPECT for the fallen and his family. Also remember, you do not have to be a motorcycle rider to participate. The flag line is open to everyone.
Staging Site and Time: 11:00 to 12:30 pm at the Walmart Supercenter parking lot, 810 Hurst St. (Hwy. 96), Center, TX (936-598-7356), approx. 1 mile from the funeral home.
All new members are requested to sign a PGR Release of Liability prior to the Riders' Meeting, which will commence at 12:30 pm. At 12:45 the group will ride to the funeral home, and will have the flag line in place by 1:00 pm. The number of bikes present will determine if an advance group will go to the cemetery after the service begins, or if all will stay to accompany the funeral procession.
<script></script>
On arrival at cemetery, we will establish flag corridor and then circle the gravesite after family and friends have made their way there.
Please remain flexible as to the requirements of the mission (SEMPER GUMBY).

SSGT Roberts leaves behind a wife, Donnice, and two children, Caehlen (age 9) and Keeghan (age 2). He was originally from Farmington, New Mexico, and was serving his third tour of the war. The first two tours were in Iraq, the third in Afghanistan.
Please ride safely and defensively. Stand tall as you honor this American hero and his family, and thanks again for your participation.

Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;

Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.

Shadows gone, break of day,

I'm just going home.
