Due to the forecast for the next few day, and the missions we will be riding, please read and take heed of this advice.
The forecast for the next couple of days is uppper 90's with heat index of 100+ so please drink plenty of fluids the night before the mission and during the day. We will try to see that there will be plenty of water available during the missions also. Also take breaks, find a shady spot, to sit out of the sun. Remember, we are there to show respect and honor not drop from heat exhaustion or stroke.
Safety is first and foremost in every mission including keeping hydrated.

As I get ready to write to you, the words fall away as almost meaningless because of the pain I know you feel. I know, because I have felt that pain.
Know that you are NOT alone on this difficult path. Others are there to help you: reach out and embrace them, for they are offering not only themselves, but sharing with you that little bit of the Almighty that resides in all of us. This offering/sharing is what WILL give you the strength you will need to get thru. Trust me.
Any service related death, on or off duty, whether accident or illness, wounds received or KIA, warrant the Gold Star for the family. Don't let anyone tell you different.
I offer you my services, such as they are. If you want to talk, feel free to get in touch with me thru the PGR messaging. I WILL return your call/message. ANYTIME!
In the meantime know that my wife's and my prayers are with you.
