To the wife Tamila , and family and friends of Americas Warrior (“Green Beret”) SGT. JAMES M. TREBER, 1 st Battalion, 7 th Special Forces Group (Airborne).Special Forces Operational Detachment-Alpha team (America's Swiss Army Knife ). I offer my most sincere and heartfelt condolences. Thank you Sgt. Treber for being that special breed of man highly skilled to succeed at our nations toughest missions, you are America's Elite Spearhead. Thank you for the ultimate sacrifice with the greatest thing you possessed, your life , in defending the freedoms and liberties of this great nation we call America. And to the Greatest Army on Earth!... You are the true light of this country, you are the glue that binds us ,you are our angel of freedom and our wings of protection. During this difficult time, I know you will draw upon your own strength and the strength of loved ones that hold you in their thoughts. Remember this country is filled with people who care about you and are thinking about you in this difficult time of sorrow...Your loss is our loss and resonates through the Patriot Guard Riders. We want to have the touch that brings you comfort, the strength that gives you courage, and the words to lighten your spirits. May the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders weave love and strenght into your hearts to ease your pain of this "American Warrior Hero".All of us are saddened by this terrible loss.". "Bravo Zulu Green Beret Sgt.Treber " ......... God Bless the (“Green Berets”) , the US Army, and all of the men and women who protect our country and defend our freedom. Standing For Those Who Stood For US........E Pluribus Unum..........One Cause One Mission ...... Respect...........Standing In Spirit In Pembroke Ma......

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends".

Special Forces Creed

I am an American Special Forces soldier. A professional! I will do all that my nation requires of me. I am a volunteer, knowing well the hazards of my profession. I serve with the memory of those who have gone before me: Roger's Rangers, Francis Marion, Mosby's Rangers, the first Special Service Forces and Ranger Battalions of World War II, the Airborne Ranger Companies of Korea. I pledge to uphold the honor and integrity of all I am - in all I do. I am a professional soldier. I will teach and fight wherever my nation requires. I will strive always, to excel in every art and artifice of war. I know that I will be called upon to perform tasks in isolation, far from familiar faces and voices, with the help and guidance of my God. I will keep my mind and body clean, alert and strong, for this is my debt to those who depend upon me. I will not fail those with whom I serve. I will not bring shame upon myself or the forces. I will maintain myself, my arms, and my equipment in an immaculate state as befits a Special Forces soldier. I will never surrender though I be the last. If I am taken, I pray that I may have the strength to spit upon my enemy. My goal is to succeed in any mission - and live to succeed again. I am a member of my nation's chosen soldiery. God grant that I may not be found wanting, that I will not fail this sacred trust.
