Ladies and gentlemen, we have been invited to honor Pat Layman 77, with a flag line on Friday, May 9th, at Whispering Pines Church. He was a past Commander of American Legion Post 45 and will be missed by all who knew him.
This is a two part mission. A flag line will be set up at the church prior to the service, then move to the cemetery for interment. An escort is also requested.
We will be guests of the American Legion Riders
Ride Captain: Ron Bamer
Staging location: Deschutes County Sherrifs parking lot 51334 Evens Way. It is right on highway 97 at the south end of La Pine.
Staging time: 1130 (11:30am) KSU 1200

| Pat was the post commander of our post when we joined almost 4 yrs. ago. He was the commander that backed the ALR to be part of our post. We will miss him very much and pray for his family. We are all looking forward to honoring a great man tomorrow. I hope that there will be a number of patriot guard riders show up. Our hearts are heavy but we will proudly display our flags to honor him and we will ride proud. For God and Country, God bless the USA. |
