What an honor it was to see, and be with all of you again. Thanks to Scott and John for allowing me to present the flag back to the 600th. One of the guys (Chuck Sacks ) that came home, graduated with my son (many yrs ago ), and I use to work with his wife ( Carol ). It was wonderful to see the reunion. They have 2 boys, and they were overwhelmed with his return.
Once again, the PGR showed the true meaning of "Doing The Right Thing". Over 80 members took time out of their week to show support for the returning Hero's.
Lonnie, thanks for being there, you are truly a "brave and dedicated " man. God bless you for your devotion of being with the PGR and the lasting memory of Josh.
I trust everyone made it home safely. I Had a wonderful ride home, time to reflect a little, but truly missed my sidekick.
Best to all, Cliff |
