Welcome Home Mission

A1C Robert J. McConnell

Troy, OH

88th SFS, WPAFB, OH

Staging Area:

Mc Donald’s

1560 W Main Street

Troy, OH

9 May 2008 @ 0900hrs (9:00AM)

*Note* I-75, to Exit 74, McDonalds is on the East side of the Interstate.

This is a belated Welcome Home for A1C McConnell. He served a tour in Iraq from July 2006-January 2007. His hometown is having a small ceremony honoring him for his service to our country. The PGR has been asked to attend.

Scheduled to speak are State Representative Diana Fessler, SGT Douglas Bradley, (RET)

ANG - Vietnam Veteran, Sheriff Detective Dave Norman and Tim Stine, President of Wear The Message, Inc.  www.WearTheMessage.org

A1C McConnell will be presented so items form the community and local businesses; then a long overdue Handshake form the PGR!!

This will be a weather dependent mission, due to the location and circumstances involved with this event. If it is evident that an all day soaker form Mother Nature is upon us a

“STAND DOWN” mission order will be issued. So hope and pray for some sunshine.

We will ride to the event location as a group; just a couple of miles up the road. The bikes are to be in place at the ceremony location at 0930hrs (9:30AM). The Ceremony starts at 1000hrs (10:00AM). The event is scheduled to last about one hour.

District 4 Captain Mark Lockhart is the assigned ride captain for this mission. Please follow his instructions and bring your flags.
