The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in Honor and Respect for U.S. Air Force Veteran Carter "Carkie" Henry in Morgantown, WV on Wednesday, 23 April 2008. A USAF Veteran, Carkie served as Second Steward aboard Air Force One under Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy and Johnson. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 23 April, at 1100 at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home, 10 High Street, Morgantown, WV (http://tinyurl.com/4spksn) with interment to follow in Bethel Cemetery, Granville, WV. Due to the short notice, staging will be at the funeral home at 0930 with flag line established NLT 1000. Flag line will be maintained until start of services, then reformed prior to departure for the cemetery. John (Ghostdancer) Schwartz will be the Ride Captain for this mission and will post any further pertinent information. Understanding the very short notice and mid-week date of services, all who can possibly attend to stand in Honor for another of America's Heroes is requested to do so. Respects, Joe wva@patriotguard.org www.patriotguard.org

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Carter "Carkie" Henry, USAF Veteran. May God help you though this difficult time and sorrow. He is
one of America's Heroes that will never be forgotten.
Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, Carter.
Going home, going home,
I'm just going home.
Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;
Jesus is the Door;
Work all done, laid aside,
Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.
Morning
Star lights the way;
Restless dream all done;
Shadows gone, break of day,
Life has just begun.
Every tear wiped away,
Pain and sickness gone;
Wide awake there with Him!
Peace goes on and on!
Going home, going home,
I'll be going home.
See the Light! See the Sun!
I'm just going home.

The time schedule remains as earlier posted but the funeral home is at 10 South High Street, Morgantown. Pay particular attention to the one-way streets in Morgantown. The map on the site listed by Ultraclassic will show them marked with arrows, if you zoom in just far enough.
My cellphone number is 304-365-0077, for anyone needing help in the morning.
