I RC'd this very nice mission, blog
http://pgrwelcomehomecpljacobloredo.blogspot.com/
Pics are from top to bottom, text for a pic is under the pic, click on a pic for a much larger pic!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I
want to thank Jacob's family for inviting PGR to welcome home one of
our finest!!! The last pic is of the group, and a great pic, IMHO. Let
me know if you'd like a larger version....
Now it gets
interesting... I've been on "clandestine" missions, but this one
impressed me, mom and son did not know there would be a big welcome!!!
Mom's sis made the arrangements!!
Lots of surprises!! GBG And to
their credit they took it well and enjoyed the group. The Blue Star
Moms were there also, If I missed anyone, please forgive.
Also please forgive me of some of the pics, they are not the best, that little round knob sometimes get bumped, sigh...
 So
we are gathering and getting to know folks... the lady with the poster
had contacts with the American Flag on them! You looked into her eyes
and saw the flag, real nice!!!
Just taking pics...Dave and Mireya on the right...
Lots of excitement! Folks having a great time in anticipation of arrival.

 Jacob getting hugs...
He's just taking this all in, he was stoked at the reception! It was a great welcome home!
Did I say hugs? Jacob got hugs!!! Navy even!! GBG Good on him!! He deserved all there was!!!
 Did I say hugs??!! GBG
 I'm
so sorry this is fuzzy, but have to post it, some day I'll learn how to
use a camera, and be able to see the dials, sigh All family, Grand
parents on left and mom on the right, sons in the middle....
 So
after the meet and greet, we get back to the bikes to proceed to a wait
point just before 87 for the family to come on by and honk us up!
 Jacob
had to rent a car and apparently there was a run on them, not a problem
a very nice day and we just visited, and that was absolutely great!
Nice folks!
So we make to Jacob's home, bikes lined up in front of his home...
More bikes
 More visiting and saying HI!!!
 Brian and Jacob talking....
So here we all are (not the Cranky guy behind the camera... GBG) and a darn nice pic!! A great ride and again, thank Sis for inviting us!!! GBG
I want to thank the PGR that attended, you make a difference.
We had 11 bikes and a great showing for Jacob!!!
Phil San Jose Nancy San Jose Dave San Jose Mireya Morgan Hill Dave Redwood City Alise Dropped by, she worked close by and we met at Wreaths Across America last year Erin Gilroy Lina (I think) She had the Honda Pacific Coast It shifts so it is NOT a scooter!! GBG (I'm sorry, my hand writing.. sigh) Dave An old time member Glen Old time member and fellow ALR Dist 13 Rider (Lucky 13) Brian Tail gunner and good friend, and thank you and your parents for being there!!!
Brian, a special thanks for helping me focus on the mission! First one in many months and I appreciated your coaching! ESPECIALLY for taking the last pic!!!
