I wonder why we don't have a Blue Star Mothers Chapter In West Virginia?
Don't we care about our sons and daughters serving in U. S. Armed Forces?

Lest I go my uncaring way
Help me to remember
That somewhere out there
A Soldier died for me today.
So Long as there be War
I must ask and answer,
"Am I Worth Dying For?"

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you: 1. Jesus Christ. 2. The American G.I. One died for your soul, the other for your Freedom.

   Dan, my sincere thanks for your honorable service to our country during a time many have tried to forget.  To have given of yourself for two tours of duty only speaks to your dedication to attempting to give others the freedom and liberty we have here.  May God welcome you with open arms as you come Home.

   May your family, friends and community find a measure of healing in God's mercy and comfort.  May they realize and believe that you are now in a place far better than here and understand that you continue to watch over them from your rightful place among the Angels in  Heaven.

   Stand at ease Charles Runion!  Your tour of duty has come full circle.  God Speed and Welcome Home!

   Due to conflicting missions in West Virginia, I will be unable to attend this mission but know I will be with all of you, in spirit, as I also pay Honor and Respect to Putt Deaton.
Respects,
Joe

We're proud to be able to honor Mr. Runion and the contributions he made for our country. We extend our condolences to his family and loved ones. He will not be forgotten...

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Charles Daniel "Dan" Runion, US Army/Viet Nam Veteran. May God help you though this difficult time and sorrow. He is one of America's Heroes that will never be forgotten.

Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, Charles.

Going home, going home,
I'm just going home.
Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;
Jesus is the Door;
Work all done, laid aside,
Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.

Morning Star lights the way;
Restless dream all done;
Shadows gone, break of day,
Life has just begun.
Every tear wiped away,
Pain and sickness gone;
Wide awake there with Him!
Peace goes on and on!
Going home, going home,
I'll be going home.
See the Light! See the Sun!
I'm just going home.
