The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in Honor and Respect of Thomas "Biggie" Shrewsbury, U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam who passed away on Friday, 18 January 2008.
Services will be on Monday, 21 January, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, 1325 Washington St., Charleston, WV 25302 (http://tinyurl.com/2as9gz). Visitation with begin at 1800 with services commencing at 1900.
Patriot Guard Riders will stage in the parking lot of the funeral home at 1715 and be in our flag line NLT 1745. Flag line will be maintained until shortly after commencement of services. There will be NO escort at the conclusion, thus our services will end shortly after 1900.
Either Bob Smith or Jack Kalmar will be the designated Ride Captain for this Mission of Honor.
Please follow this thread for any updates that may be posted. All who are able are requested to assist in showing another Veteran of the Vietnam War the Respect and Honor he should have been given upon his return home.

I'm on it hope to see a good turnout! Thomas "Biggie" Shrewsbury stood for us in a brutal war in Viet Nam. May he R.I.P.! So lets show our respect and honor his service for a few hours. My sincere condolences to the family and friends of this American hero. |

Biggie, we thank you for your service to our country when such service was sometimes frowned upon by others. It will be an honor to pay you the Honor and Respect you earned so many decades ago but most likely did not receive. May God grant you safe passage as you approach the Gates of Heaven.
