We have been asked by the family of William Travelstead to be present during his visitation and services on Thursday Nov 20, 08.
Mr Travelstead, 55, is an Air Force veteran and avid motorcyclist. Those of you who were on the Memorial Run last year when we staged in the Atlas Van Lines parking lot may remember him as being the guy that opened the building for us. Mr Travelstead was employed at Atlas Van Lines for 35 years.
There will not be an escort involved, bikes are welcome but not necessary. We'll set up a flag line at 8:30AM and hold it during the visitation and services. Military Rites will be given at the end of the service in the funeral home parking lot, the services and our flag line will end after the Military Rites.
Location:
Alexander Funeral Home, North Chapel
4200 Stringtown Rd
Evansville, IN 47711
Time:
8:30 to about 11:30AM (Central time)
Thursday, Nov 20, 08
Dress is whatever you have on at the time and it's not necessary for you to stay the entire time. Come when you can and stay as long as you're able.
I will be the Ride Captain for this mission, contact me if you have any questions
Respects,
Joe Cobb

Our debt to the Heroic men and Valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid . They have earned our undying gratitude. America will never forget their sacrifices (President Harry S. Truman)
During these days of many trials and tribulations that our land of the free are facing, let us remember to hold our heads up high in remembrance for those who gave thier life for our freedom and those that are still in harms way for this cause. Pray for the brokenhearted and proclaim victory for those who are held captive. Lord, You are the light of the world and we declare You to be Lord over every nation. We know your light shines in darkness and the darkness does not always comprehend, but we also know You light will always prevail. Amen. Chaplin, Lorraine Richmond.
