We have been asked by the family of William Travelstead to be present during his visitation and services on Thursday Nov 20, 08.
 
Mr Travelstead, 55, is an Air Force veteran and avid motorcyclist.  Those of you who were on the Memorial Run last year when we staged in the Atlas Van Lines parking lot may remember him as being the guy that opened the building for us.  Mr Travelstead was employed at Atlas Van Lines for 35 years.
 
There will not be an escort involved, bikes are welcome but not necessary. We'll set up a flag line at 8:30AM and hold it during the visitation and services. Military Rites will be given at the end of the service in the funeral home parking lot, the services and our flag line will end after the Military Rites.
 
Location:
Alexander Funeral Home, North Chapel
4200 Stringtown Rd
Evansville, IN 47711
 
Time:
8:30 to about 11:30AM (Central time)
Thursday, Nov 20, 08
 
Dress is whatever you have on at the time and it's not necessary for you to stay the entire time. Come when you can and stay as long as you're able.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of William Travelstead on his passing. His legacy involves military service and for that we are most appreciative to be recipients of his commitment, bravery, and sacrifice. Rest in peace soldier. Thank you for not only standing for us, but also for generations to come.
