UPDATE:
 
Part one of this mission will be Monday, Nov 17th. The service begins at 7pm at City Bible Church. 
 
Ride Captain: Chris (Bikinbabe) Keller
 
Staging Location: City Bible Church, 9200 NE Fremont St. Portland, OR 97220
 
Staging Time: 1800 (6pm) to 1815
 
Briefing: 1815 (6:15pm) Flag line in place: 1830
 
PFC Peterson will be arriving after the service starts (sometime between 8 and 9pm) so be prepared to wait. We will be there for the dignified transfer.  
 
 
Part two of this mission is Tuesday, Nov 18th.
 
We will escort PFC Peterson from Portland to The Dalles.
 
Staging Location: Omega Funeral & Cremation Services 223 S.E. 122nd Avenue   Portland, Oregon 97233
 
Staging Time: 0730 (7:30am) KSU 0800  We'll be traveling at freeway speeds. Please keep your flags furled.
 
 
The Dalles Service:  Covenant Christian Church at 1100 (11am)
 
Ride Captain: Rod (reckless) Runyon
 
Staging Location: Burger King / National Guard Armory parking lots.  (West 6th & Webber)
From Portland use exit 83 Denneys on to 6th. Left and 1 block further east.    Those coming from the East use exit 84.  This puts you on West 2nd.  Turn Left at Light. Straight ahead to Armory / Burger King.

Staging Time: 0915 (9:15am) to 0930 
Briefing: 0930 KSU: 0950
Following the Service, we will escort the procession to the Oddfellows Cemetery for Military Honors

Ladies and Gentlemen,
 
We have been invited to escort and honor Pfc Maddison Peterson of the USMC in a multi-part mission.
 
Tentatively, part one of the mission will be an escort from PDX to Omega Funeral Home on Thursday Nov. 13th. No time has been given yet. Part two will be a service In Portland possibly Monday evening Nov 17. Part three will be a service and escort in The Dalles on Tuesday Nov 18th.

To United States Marine PFC Maddison Peterson, I say " Job Well Done, Marine, for You Have Given Your All".  And to his family and friends, I give you my heartfelt sympathies and condolences, and may you gain some comfort from knowing that PFC Peterson has joined the very elite and hallowed ranks of the true heroes of our country, and that his supreme sacrifice to his country SHALL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.  So, Rest in Peace, Marine, and go with all the Honor and Respect that you are due, for it is a great deal, and can never be repaid.
