I Remember You
When I walk into my church,
free and without fear,
I remember you.
When I see children playing in the school yard,
girls and boys of all kinds,
I remember you.
When I see families working together,
regardless of religion or nationality,
I remember you.
When I go to sleep
without worry for my family's safety,
I remember you.
When I see our flag waving in front of my home,
and when I can salute that flag without fear of
reprisal,
I remember you.
When I remember you,
I think of the sacrifices you made so I could
have these things.
I think of your commitment and your service
beyond mere duty.
I think of all that you have given
so that I and those whom I love can be free.
When I pray at night and give thanks
for the blessings God has given,
I remember you.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Donald Wolfe. You will be missed “Brother”. Stand down your tour is done.
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, And the rain fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.

MISSION UPDATE, I have just finished a phone conversation with Roger Wolfe, the brother of this Hero. Another family member is actually working with the Navy and at this point, for reasons not apparent to me, it will be a minimum of 45 days before this mission can be executed, which puts it off until sometime in June. Roger will be checking further tomorrow (27 Apr.) and hopes to have more concise information. This has been a very difficult time for this family and while final services for this hero in some way will help with the healing effect that closure can bring, this family has dealt with their loss for four decades and we must all remember this and try to work around the difficulties that this mission and it's planning have been subject to. For those who have expressed their intention to participate in this mission, please be patient. I personally regret any inconveniences incurred. While PGR members have waited for some months to honor a Hero, the Wolfe family has waited 40 years. It is imperative that our support for them is as strong as possible and our prayers as often as possible.
