FINAL ITINERARY
Robert Bradford Henry
Veteran, United States Marine Corps
July 25, 2008
Ride Captain: Bill Crow (LASER), 817 360-1819 aqsi6@msn.com
__________________________________________________________________
This is a two part continuous mission honoring Mr. Robert Bradford Henry, PFC, United States Marine Corps. Mr. Henry was a Korean War Veteran having served in Korea from July 1952 through August 1953 when he was wounded, lost a leg and was subsequently discharged.
Mr. Henry was 74 years old and passed on July 20, 2008. He is survived by his wife Barbara Henry, four children, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mr. Henry was a past Member of the Panther City Lodge 1153, Moslah Shrine and Bedouins.
Mission Part 1: Family Visitation and Funeral Service, July 25, 2008:
There will be a family viewing time from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service immediately following the viewing beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Part 1 Staging: Plan to arrive not later than 9:30 a.m. at Thompson, Harvson and Cole Funeral Home, 702 8th Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76104. We will place the flags prior to 9:45 a.m. and stand the flag line until shortly after commencement of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. At that time we will remove the flags and prepare for the mission Part 2. Big flag bike riders and other riders wishing to ride as an escort will remain with the funeral procession to escort the family to the cemetery. Fort Worth Police Escort Service will escort the funeral procession to the cemetery. Patriot Guard Riders will not provide road guard services.
We will need 8 or 10 riders to go ahead with the Ride Captain to the cemetery to assist in setting up the flag line and preparing for the arrival of the family and funeral procession, due to short time frame between services.

Mission Part 2: Interment Service at Oakwood Cemetery, July 25, 2008
Shortly after 11:00 a.m., following the beginning of the funeral service the Ride Captain, Flag Master and Patriot Guard Riders will proceed to Oakwood Cemetery, 701 Grand Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76106. Immediately on arrival at the cemetery we will place all flags at the interment site and stand by for the arrival of the family and the funeral procession.
Weather: The weather is expected to be near 102 degrees F, humid and clear. The weather presents a serious need for hydration by all participants. Drink adequate amounts of water and or electrolyte enhanced liquid prior to and during the mission.
Iron Horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated. The Support Truck with flags and water will be there.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, with honor and respect for this veteran and his family.
Respectfully Submitted,
Bill Crow (LASER)
NTX Ride Captain

| There are two missions scheduled for Friday morning. The other is in Weatherford for James Casey Stephens. I'd be willing to attend the mission that has the least amount of PGR Members. Is there anyway to find out who'll be going to which one? Both of these soldiers deserve the same respect. I'm near 820 and 199 so this one would be closer but I don't have a problem going to the other one. I haven't seen the other mission for James Casey Stephens listed in the confirmed rides section yet though. |

------------------------ Besides concluding that all nations are obligated under international human rights law to control the small arms and light weapons to which its civilian population has access, the UN report remarkably denied the existence of any human right to self-defense, evidently overlooking the work of Hugo Grotius, the 17th century scholar credited as the founder of international law, who wrote, "It is to be observed that [the] Right of Self-Defence, arises directly and immediately from the Care of our own Preservation, which Nature recommends to every one. . . ," and that this right is so primary, that it cannot be denied on the basis that it is not "expressly set forth."
