This is a Confirmed Mission Plan!
SGT James M. Treber is to be buried on in the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery on 16 July, 2008 at approximately 0900 hours, from the Administration Building.
16 July Mission Plan:
Stage: 0745 hrs Iwo Jima Memorial (Marine Corps War memorial)
Brief: 0750 hrs
Depart: 0800 hrs To ANC Admin Bldg
Honors: 0900 hrs Graveside
Ride Captain: TBA (contact the undersigned in the interim)
Iron Horses preferred, cages welcome as always.
Mounted large flags preferred for the transit to ANC (furl upon ANC parking).
Large hand-held flags NOT used in ANC for burial services.
Military mandated ID / gear NOT required for this mission.

SGT Treber will be arriving at Ft. Bragg tomorrow morning and our RC's in the area have quickly put together an escort for his family to Ft. Bragg to receive SGT Treber. They will then escort the family and SGT Treber back to the family home.
Bill "Team Daddy" Strasburg will serve as Ride Captain and POC. He is being assisted by Michael "Grmpaw" Haluski.
0600 - Stage at Waffle House on Gillis Hill and Raeford roads
0715 - pick up family from residence and escort to Pope AFB
0907 - SGT Treber arrives
TBD - Escort SGT Treber and family to family residence
We are riding onto a military installation. Ensure you have appropriate riding attire.
08 Jul - Viewing and memorial service will be at the JFK Chapel on Ft Bragg, NC Grnpaw and I will coordinate this with the CAO on 05 Jul 08.

My condolences and prayers to the family and friends of U.S. Army Sergeant James M. Treber. I thank you for your military service and ultimate sacrifice you made for this grateful nation in keeping peace worldwide. You may be gone, but, you will never be forgotten.
