My Fellow Patriots,
We have been invited to honor the memory of 1LT Michael Thorton, 101st Airborne, US Army, and a decorated Vietnam Veteran. The services for this American Hero will be conducted at Noon 17 May 08. The services will be conducted at Douglass Falls Grange Park located at the second link below.
Because of Mission Optempo this weekend and geography, I’ve asked Cal Edwards to be the Acting Ride Captain for this mission. Time Table subject to short/no notice change. Please stay flexible.
ROAD CAPTAIN: To Be Determined
MISSION PLAN: To rally at the the Southtown Plaza, Colville WA 99114 (First Link Below), Not Later Than 1015 hrs. On order conduct the road march to the Douglass Falls Grange Park, Colville, WA and establish honors In Accordance With Ride Captain instructions.
TIME TABLE:
17 May 08: 1000-Ride Captain Arrives at Rally point
1015-Riders Arrive at Rally Point (Please bring as many of your own flags as you can)
1030-Rider’s Briefing
1045-KSU and ride to Douglass Falls Grange Park, Colville, WA
1100-Establish honors per Ride Captain’s instructions.
1200-Service begins
Dismissal: On order of Ride Captain

Over the years, many have chosen to stay at home during wars/conflicts, but it’s the “warriors” who make the difference…the ones who give of themselves, the ones who give up time with family and loved ones…yes, they are the ones who will always be remembered as the true heroes.
