Shelton Hanes had no family, he had no friends. When we arrived all there was, a flag draped casket, was sitting on top of the hill. This man truly died alone. A wonderful lady who knew of him had contacted the PGR in the hope that he would not go to his grave alone.
He did not. His flag was folded by the PGR, a flag line was stood. A preacher said a  prayer. He was laid to rest next to his brother, his only request. He did not go alone into the night.
That day I was proud to be part of the PGR. To all that were there that day, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
